AirTite Coin Holders

There is a difference.  We carry the original AirTite holders, invented by Norman W. Therrien, which has been manufactured for over 20 years.  There is a competing product, recently introduced to the marketplace, with a similar name.  This product uses plastic rings, not the time-proven inert polyethylene inner ring.  As the old saying goes, "if the price is too good to be true, it probably is."  We don't set minimum quantities to qualify for a discount, we discount regardless of Qty.

One other thing you need to look out for.  Our product is factory-sealed in blister packaging, not re-packed from bulk product, thrown loose in a bag, that you'll find sold by many coin supply dealers at a discount.  The advantage of original Airtite blister packaging is that you won't receive scratched, finger-smudged holders or rings, or product that has collected dust and moisture, which ultimately ends up on your coin surfaces.

Rings are produced by cross linked polyethylene (trade name "Volara"), which is totally inert. None of the components contain any PVC. The holders are highly durable and scratch resistant.

*Bulk holders are not returnable, so be certain you've ordered the correct size and ring color. Bulk pricing is for lots of 250 of one holder size and one ring color. Bulk holders are packed in cartons layered with tops and bottoms and not in blister packaging.  Bulk rings are packed loose in an individual carton. Bulk holders are considered special order and not returnable.

AirTite Holders With Rings

We have a recommendation for you wish to use Airtite holders, but don't want to store your holdered coins in a box, or mount them on a display card.  Eagle makes 2x2" album pages that are made of semi-rigid and archivally-safe clear plastic.  The page consists of 20 vacuum-formed pockets that sit below the surface of the page.  Each pocket has a clear strap going across the bottom to keep the holders from moving.  These pages are designed to be placed into a 3-ring binder.

While the AirTite holders are round, they fit nicely into the 2x2 pockets of a Eagle page.  The plastic strap at the bottom of each 2x2 pocket keeps the Airtite holder in place within the pocket.
